Privacy and cookie policy
Short version: I collect as little as possible, I don't sell anything to anyone, and I don't track you around the internet.

Who is responsible
AriWebs (Amir Noshirwani, Chamber of Commerce number 42209408, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands) is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about your data, email info@ariwebs.nl.
What I collect and why
Only what you choose to send me:
- Contact form: your name, email address, message and, if you fill them in, what you need and your rough budget.
- Quote request: your answers about the website you have in mind, your name, and your email address or phone number.
- Booking calendar: the name, email address and any notes you enter when you book a call.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: whatever you send me that way.
I use it to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if we agree on a project, do the work. I never use it for newsletters or advertising.
Legal basis
Handling your enquiry is a step taken at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). Project records are kept because Dutch tax law requires it (article 6(1)(c)). Server logs are kept to keep the site secure (legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f)). Loading the booking calendar is based on your consent (article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else handles it
Your data is never sold. It is only shared with the services needed to run this site, which process it on my behalf:
- OVHcloud hosts the website on a server in the European Union.
- Resend delivers the contact form and quote requests to my inbox.
- Google Workspace provides my business email.
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar on the contact page.
Resend, Google and Cal.com may process data outside the European Union. Those transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. It stores two small things in your own browser, both needed for the site to work the way you asked:
- Your light or dark preference (
ariwebs-theme), kept until you clear it. - Your choice about the booking calendar (
ariwebs-consent), only if you tick “Remember my choice”.
The booking calendar on the contact page comes from Cal.com. It only loads after you click “Load the calendar”, and Cal.com may then set its own cookies, described in Cal.com's privacy policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
How long I keep things
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within two years. Records relating to actual projects are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Server logs are kept no longer than needed to keep the site secure.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to how it's used, by emailing me. I'll respond within a month. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
